The Wii is worthy?

Well, I have had a Wii myself and got bored of it after just a week . I thought it was just me but I have heard many other people selling it quickly after they buy it. Im beggining to think that all the advertisements and all that are just trying to make it look bigger than it really deserves to be.

Is the Wii a worthy console against the PS3 and the XBOX 360?

Because I have not yet seen an interesting game for the Wii like COD4, TF2, Gears of war 1 and 2, Halo 3... etc which are all on the XBOX 360. Im not into Mario, Zelda or Metroid at all by the way, even though they are a unique "species" of Games for the Wii.

Apart from a little "Physical fun" from this console, I really cant see anything so great about the Wii. If it's price was about half then i would say that it's a fair console. But if you think its worth the money, I would like to know why.

The Wii is more of a console for when you have friends over a lot. It's like a party console.

Yeah, but once you think about it so is the Xbox 360.
Xbox Live lets you play with others, and nearly every game has some sort of multiplayer for Xbox.

The Wii is mostly mario, zelda, metroid games for those who are hardcore.

I'd say sell the Wii and try for sometin better.

Nintendo has abandoned any hardcore gaming they may have encountered. They found out they can get more money from the casual gamer like the parent or grandparent. There's proly not going to be many major games anymore ><
